Shebeko, Kirill Ivanovich
Kirill Ivanovich Shebeko, born in 1920 in small Russian Far East village, has been named The Honored Painter of Russia, The Honored Artist of Russia. He has exhibited in Russia, Yugoslavia, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Bulgaria, Germany, and India. Japan. Shebeko's painting hang in the State Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow, Art Foundation of Russia, Culture Ministry Russia, the art galleries and museums of Vladivostok, many other Russian cities, and private collections of Russia and abroad.
You can find his name and reproduction of one of his paintings in the book Socialist Realist Painting by Mathew Cullerne Bown (p. 342, 353, 354) published by Yale University Press.
